Workshop Description

Workshop location: AprilEvans, 175R Main Street, Wareham, MA Do you wish you could quiet your racing mind? Do you have to-do lists circling in your head, never giving you a moment to pause? Have you tried traditional meditation, but you just can't stop the mental noise? We have something new for you to try. Join Flourish at AprilEvans for a relaxing creative experience that uses guided creative techniques combined with intentional breathing and relaxation to approach that calm feeling you have been looking for. All materials and instruction will be provided, leaving you to fully focus on finding the state of flow your mind and body have been craving. During the workshop we will also be discussing ways to fit similar creative exercises into your busy life because these techniques become more and more effective with practice. We will share how you can use spaces within your busy life to create some time to pause and reset. Light snacks will be available for participants during the workshop, and participants can also bring water bottles or other munchies for themselves if they would like. Participants are encouraged to come in comfortable clothing and to be aware that while working with art materials, stains, marks, or other accidents may occur. Please note that Flourish programs are alcohol-free in order to be fully present for each workshop.
