Workshop Description

Workshop location: AprilEvans, 175R Main Street, Wareham, MA When you are seeking insight into your inner thoughts, it can be daunting to sit and look at a blank page. Trying to force the words to come can be frustrating. True insight and personal reflection is a process of both focusing your intentions and letting your mind wander through possibilities. The creative process is an excellent way to facilitate both of these habits. Come create with a small, intentional community of like-minded people and learn to use the power of the abstract creative process to gain insight into your subconscious mind. From identifying goals to recognizing challenges in your path, working through creating art can help make your inner voice be heard. In this workshop we will be using mixed media to create an abstract mind guide. No two creations will be the same, just as no two people's life journeys are identical. Guided instruction and plenty of inspiration will be available throughout the class. Everyone, regardless of creative experience is welcome to attend. Just bring an open and questioning mind. Join Flourish Creativity & Wellness Studio at our host site, AprilEvans Beauty & Wellness, 175R Main Street, Wareham, MA for this fun and meaningful creative workshop. Light snacks will be available for participants during the workshop, and participants can also bring water bottles or snacks if they would like. Participants are encouraged to come in comfortable clothing and to be aware that while working with art materials, stains, marks, or other accidents may occur.
